My name is Mark Cheng.
I paint mainly in oils , but also in watercolour and occasionally in acrylic as well as in pastel.
My style varies between the almost entirely figurative and the almost entirely abstract. I would describe myself as a semi-abstract painter: this covers most of what I do.
I am a member of the Eagle Gallery group of artists of Bedford. This is an artists' co-operative, and we hold exhibitions of our work all the year round. In addition, we also have small group and one-man shows several times a year. I also exhibit with other groups, as well as on my own, in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire as well as in Ely.
I have painted a set of the Stations of the Cross for Saint Philip and St James Church in Bedford. This is on permanent desplay in the Church. Another set of the Stations was painted for St Andrew's Church, also in Bedford. It will be on display during Lent for the first time next year.
I live in Bedford and I can be contacted by email at Magache13@aol.comMa gache13@aol.com
